ATTENTION FISHERMEN & WOMEN

We have now received our new 2009 Yearly Fishing Passes from the printers.  We will start mailing them on 3/31/09.  Please hang them on your rear-view mirror when visiting all Prairieville Township parks and launch sites.  The Gull Lake pay station will be installed earlier than expected.  When installation is complete, we will mail you an electronic "smart" card for entry into this park.  The gate will automatically open at 6:00am each day and lock at 11:00pm - 365 days a year.  There will also be a sign in front of the park to indicate whether parking is available.

DON'T FORGET ABOUT LOWER CROOKED LAKE

The water level is up!!!  With all the rain we received last fall and the snow totals so far this winter, looks like the Lower Crooked Launch site will be easier than ever to maneuver.  Don't forget, this is an excellent fishing lake as well as a scenic gem in our township.  It's been under fished the last few years due to the low water level and boats having a hard time launching, so this lake is primed for some great catches!!!!!

GATED PAY STATION AT GULL LAKE PARK IN APRIL 2009

We are going to be installing a gated pay station at the Gull Lake Park around the middle of April 2009.   For your convenience, the station will be capable of handling coins and bills, as well as Visa/Mastercard debit and credit cards.   The gate will automatically open at 6:00am and lock at 11:00pm - 365 days a year.  The park will also have a sign letting patrons know of available parking sites.

Once the station is installed , we will have personnel at the gate for the first few weeks to help with the ease of implementation.  We still will continue to have staff on site at this park for your assistance.

If you have any questions, please call 269-569-3956.
